It’s nice to hear someone praising trade shows, especially since I haven’t heard much of it these days outside of our industry associations’ spokespeople. Check out this editorial from PC magazine, subtitled, CES and its ilk are critical to the way humans do business.
Check out these 10 strangest jobs in the travel industry. My favorite is “Monkey Men, Amanbagh Resort, Rajasthan, India — keep native monkeys from stealing guests’ cookies.” Though I wouldn’t mind having this as a second career: “Coconut Safety Engineer, Ritz-Carlton, St. Thomas — picks ripened coconuts before they fall.”
Oh this is just the best, the absolute best airline complaint letter ever. I am still laughing…
