Thanks to Krys at Gathering for putting together this list of networking tips/resourcesfor shy people. I’m bookmarking it for a closer look, hopefully sometime before ASAE and The Center’s annual meeting in August. I am a total trainwreck when it comes to those networking events; maybe these tips will help.

Thanks for passing on these tips. I will be going to my first ASAE meeting this year and these tips should come in handy.

An engineering friend of mine said that it’s well accepted within their profession that they are the shyest of the shy. She said you can tell an extrovert at an engineering function because she will be looking at your shoes instead of hers.
