Since I haven’t written about weird-flavored sodas in a while, and tomorrow is Thanksgiving in the U.S., here’s the latest from Jones Soda: The holiday gift pack. It’s a full liquid meal, just in time for the holidays, and includes Turkey and Gravy soda, Sweet Potato Soda, Dinner Roll Soda, and Pea Soda. Oh, and of course, Antacid Flavored Soda, ’cause you know you’re going to need it.

I really, really hate getting stuck in the middle seat on an airplane, but I don’t know if this would make me any happier. Wendy’s, maker of Frosties and Fries, is handing out “free $1 cards for middle-seat passengers at nine airports over Thanksgiving weekend.” So if you can prove you had a middle seat at a Wendy’s at these airports&8212;Port Columbus International Airport, LaGuardia Airport in New York, Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport, Bush Intercontinental Airport and Hobby Airport in Houston, Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport, Sea-Tac in Seattle, Wash., and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport&8212;you’ll have a break from turkey leftovers, or at least a buck toward that double with cheese.

Ever wonder if your brain power matches your age? I hadn’t, but now that I’ve taken the brain trainer test, I can’t help but think about it. While I didn’t make the “ideal” age of 21—31 was the closest I came to it—that’s not too shabby. I’ll have to try it again when I’m fully rested and not distracted by thinking about having the big Thanksgiving meal at our house tomorrow. Thanks to the MeCo listserv for the pointer!
