Northwest airlines’ brochure leads to outrage
Getting laid off due to outsourcing is bad enough, but Northwest Airlines is slapping them on the face on the way out the door with a brochure that’s supposed to ease their transition, according to The Bismark Tribune. Among the offensive sections is one detailing how to deal with job loss, including:
- A list of 101 money-saving ideas suggests they ask friends and family for hand-me-down clothes or ask a doctor for free samples of their prescription drugs. Idea No. 46 - “Don’t be shy about pulling something you like out of the garbage.”
