I’ve noticed this before while at conferences, and again today: Everyone’s eyes are red, and I don’t think it’s because we were all out gambling too late last night (I know I was happily tucked in my Las Vegas hotel room watching Lost and Invasion and totally don’t deserve it). Is it something in the air? The lighting? I don’t know, but it seems impossible to avoid. If anyone has any good tips on how to keep your eyes from getting wonky while in a hotel/convention-center, I’d love to hear them. In the meantime, I’m going to go buy some Visine.

Speaking of redeyes, I’m flying on one coming home tomorrow night (leaves at 11 p.m., gets in at 9 a.m.). Since I have yet to successfully snooze on an airplane, any tips on how to conk out in flight also would be more than welcome (outside of lots of alcohol and/or sleeping pills, that is).
