Helping a friend in need
I’m sad to say that Chris Pentz, of the Pentz Group Communications, is not faring well in her fight with bladder cancer, despite her surgery in January. Chris has been an invaluable resource for Medical Meetings, a speaker at our Pharmaceutical Meeting Planners Forum, and she’s just an all-around wonderful person. According to the newsletter of the Philadelphia Area Chapter of MPI, of which she’s the vice president of education (as reported on the MIForum listserv):
- Sadly, Chris’s recovery has not progressed as hoped, and the cancer has advanced. Chris’s medical bills and care costs are mounting. PAMPI has established a fund to assist Chris at this difficult time and is accepting donations on her behalf. Checks may be payable to The Chris Pentz Fund and mailed to the PAMPI Office. Cash or check donations can also be made at any upcoming PAMPI event.

May I suggest that whoever at PAMPI that is coordinating the fund drive open up a Donation PAYPAL account as well? Donations can be made with a click. It should increase the donations…
