PCMA show blog starts up
And another one climbs aboard the blog bus—looks like PCMA now has a show blog for its January conference. Just a couple of posts so far. I can’t tell from looking at it if it’s an official PCMA blog, or if it’s the sponsor who is writing it, either independently of PCMA or in conjunction with them (there is a link to it from the PCMA site, so I’m guessing they have blessed it). Be curious to know who’s writing it.

So…what do you think, is this blog supposed to be anonymous, or did they just forget to include the author’s name(s)? (You know how I feel about anonymous blogs…)

I have no idea, but feeling the same way you do about anonymous blogs, I hope they put a name/bio on it at some point. It’s so new that I’m sure they’re still working on it. If any PCMA folks stop by here, I’d love to hear more about it from you.

Let me try to clear up some of the mystery. I am working with PCMA as the “blogmaster” for the upcoming Annual Meeting. The blog is still somewhat in set up phase, which is why the first two posts don’t have author names. (Well, actually, they do now. But the name is PCMA, so that doesn’t really help.) But the intention is not for the blog to be anonymous. I share Kevin’s and your views on the anonymous blog thing.
We have a great core group of bloggers who will begin to reveal themselves in the coming weeks so I encourage you to keep reading. In the meantime, thanks Sue for mentioning the blog. I look forward to continuing the conversation with you and your readers!
