How many business trips do you take per year?
That’s the question asked in an e-mail I got this morning from Microsoft Office Live Meetings. As of when I voted this morning, 46 percent said 1-5 trips per year. The surprise for me was that the second highest response was that 22 percent took 16 or more trips per year (19 percent said 6-10, and 14 percent said 11-15).
I don’t know how many of those trips are for meetings, but I’m guessing it’s a lot. No wonder United Airlines can afford to hire 2,000 flight attendants for the first time since 9/11—with that many people flying for business, things should be looking up for the airlines, finally.
